When the Mughals ruled India for several centuries they built grand and luxurious structures. The interior of these buildings were decorated beautifully containing different art works. Sometimes paintings of court scenes, portraits of the emperors, and beautiful depictions of nature. Along with the interior designing, the Mughals paid much attention to the exterior of the buildings. Jali's known as pierced stone screen windows were a key element of Mughal architecture.
These intricately decorated Jali's were widely used not only as windows for ventilation purposes but also as room dividers and railings.
This wooden Mughal architecture inspired Jali wall art will add elegance and beauty to any space.
Two art works were created together, which can be placed side by side as shown in the last picture.
