This exquisite decorative decorative painting and wall hanging is a regal and beautiful addition to any space. It is a handpainted framed work of art based on a historic geometric and floral arabesque pattern found on the woodwork of a 12th century historic minbar made in the Koutobiyya Mosque in Marrakech, Moroccco. The minbar was constructed between 1125 - 1130. The original minbar was made from a wide variety of materials ranging from cedar wood, padouk, walnut, boxwood, African blackwood, and bone. The various materials were carved and inlaid to make a beautiful patterning. This 8" x 10" canvas artwork has been framed by a wooden frame which measures 10" x 12". This is a beautiful addition to any household or office looking for a bit of beauty, history, charm, and elegance all in one.
