One of our more exquisite creations, the artwork we recreated here dates to the medieval Islamic world. Horses are considered majestic creatures in almost every culture. Their beauty and elegance has always inspired forms of art. The arabesque design used in this wood art piece dates to the 11th century in Fatimid Egypt. The inspiration for our design comes from an originally carved piece of wood which was once used as a door panel and for which craftsmen in medieval Fatimid Egypt were extremely famous for producing. We have treated multiple surfaces and used a laser to etch our new modern yet medievally sourced artwork into an exquisite 11 x 14 framed artwork for your home or office. We have tried, as we do in all our products, to bring back some of the elegance of those medieval craftsmen long ago, and this piece does the trick. In addition to the etched horse arabesques, we also created a border around the horse which is an arabesque pattern we found in a tiraz textile from the same time period. It's one of a kind, and definitely an eye turner for any space you put it in.
